Service Grid Revisions as of 7/1/08

Service Grid Revision:

• The Service Grid has been revised.  The new Service Grid version date is 7/1/08.
• The procedure codes for Intensive Community Integration have been removed, consistent with MaineCare policy.
• The 3 new Targeted Case Management codes that were added in June have been temporarily removed.  They will be posted again when the TCM MaineCare policy is finalized.
• A procedure code has been added for Children Out of State Hospitals.
• The “CBHS-Approved Only” PNMI Room & Board and R&B Leave Day procedure codes have been added.  Please see the provider update for details on when the codes may be used: http://www.qualitycareforme.com/MaineProvider_Update060608a.htm

For providers who wish to align the end dates of the Room & Board Authorizations with existing Continued Stay Authorizations, after registering the Room & Board authorization requests, please submit a list to the APS Healthcare Provider Relations with:

• APS Case ID’s for the Room & Board Authorizations
• The end date for each case that will bring the Room & Board Authorization into alignment with the appropriate Continued Stay Authorization for that member.

APS Healthcare Provider Relations staff will change the Room & Board Authorization end date to the date that you’ve identified that will bring it into alignment with the Continued Stay Authorization.
